Meet the Team
At TGP Kids – The Gathering Place Childcare Center, our team of dedicated Early Childhood Educators creates a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children learn and grow through play and exploration. More than a childcare center, we’re a family of educators who believe every child deserves to feel secure, valued, and inspired every day.

Owner / Operator / Community Leader
Early Childhood Educator
Indy Dhial
Growing up in the Okanagan gave me a strong connection to this community, and raising my own family here has only deepened that connection. After more than 15 years in corporate leadership, I followed my passion for working with children and returned to school to become a licensed Early Childhood Educator, where I was honoured to receive the prestigious ECEBC Sue Fraser Award.
Founding TGP Kids gave me the opportunity to combine my leadership experience with my commitment to supporting children and families. Our program is built on learning through play, introducing children to new cultures and experiences, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow.
As both an educator and a father, I understand how important it is for families to find childcare they can trust. I believe strong relationships, smaller learning environments, and open communication help children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Beyond TGP Kids, I have dedicated countless hours to volunteering with youth sports, education, and community organizations throughout Kelowna. Supporting local families has always been at the heart of what I do, and that same commitment continues to guide my work both inside and outside the classroom.
I believe investing in children today helps build a stronger, more connected Kelowna for generations to come.

My goal as an early children educator is to provide an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment where each child is offered the tools to build their skills through open ended, hands on provocations that provoke interest on people, places, and our world. I thoroughly enjoy building meaningful connections with children, inspiring curiosity, and creating a safe space where they can grow, learn, and thrive. Building trusting relationships with kids is truly my passion.

I have been working as an educator for 2 years. I truly love working with children, providing them with tools to learn and grow, creating meaningful learning experiences, and providing them with a safe and positive space to explore and experience! I’m also someone who loves to stay active, busy and engaged during my time away from the center. Both my passion for childcare and an active lifestyle keeps me motivated each day!

I have a passion for watching children grow in an inclusive childcare setting. Giving children the opportunity to learn with hands on activities, conversations and movement. Creating healthy boundaries for the children to explore their interests in a safe manner while interacting with their peers.

I have had the privilege of living and working in communities across Canada, gaining valuable experience with diverse families, cultures, and educational environments. Music, dance, and theatre are an important part of my daily curriculum, bringing creativity, joy, and self-expression into the learning environment. I believe the arts provide children with powerful opportunities to explore, connect, and develop essential life skills. I am deeply committed to fostering empathy, kindness, and respect in every interaction. Supporting children as they discover themselves and the world around them is both my profession and my greatest joy.
