Philosophy
Engaging in group activities is essential for early childhood education as it fosters social skills, teamwork, and communication among young learners. Activities such as circle time, collaborative art projects, and group storytelling not only enhance cognitive development but also encourage children to express their ideas and emotions. By participating in these activities, children learn to respect others' opinions and work together towards common goals, laying a strong foundation for their future learning experiences.
Indoor Free Play

Indoor play at The Gathering Place is filled with creativity, imagination, and fun. Children explore with loose parts, build confidence through new challenges, and connect with the world around them through engaging, theme-based activities. Working together helps them learn to share, cooperate, and solve problems, while art activities like drawing, painting, and gluing spark their creativity and fine motor skills. Every moment is designed to inspire growth, independence, and joyful discovery.
Outdoor Free Play

Outdoor play gives children the chance to move, explore, and grow in the fresh air. Climbing, swinging, running, and playing on playground equipment helps them build strength, balance, and coordination. Through sports, organized group games, and seasonal activities, children develop teamwork, social skills, and confidence while experiencing the outdoors year-round.
Circle Time

Through songs, rhymes, stories, and movement, Circle Time creates a fun space for children to listen, share, and learn together. These activities build focus, communication, and confidence while introducing new concepts in an engaging way. Relaxation moments are also included to help children find calm and balance during their day.
